General Description
Y2 series motor is fully enclosed three-phase asynchronous motor with self-fan cooling system
and a mouse-cage shape. It features its high efficiency,energy saving,high value of startup toque,low noise,low vibration,and
reliability of running .It is widely used on the mechanical equipment in common places where there are no inflammable,
explosive and corrosive gases and in places with no special requirements,explosive and corrosive gases and in places
with no special requirements,such as the machine tools for cutting metals,exhaust fan and transportation machinery.
Y2 series have the Protection Class of IP54,Insulation Class of F,Cooling Method of IC411.

a) Y series motors are totally enclosed and fan cooled (TEFC),threephase squirrel cage induction motors, developed with new technique.
b) Y series motors have the merits of beautiful modeling, compact structure, low noise,
high efficiency, large starting torque, easy serving, etc. The motors are adopted with F class
insulation and designed with assenssing method for insulation system according to international
practice, it enhances greatly motor's safety and reliability. These motors have reached an
international advanced level of 1990s.
c) Y series motors are widely used in many places, such as drilling machines, pumps, fans,
mixer, transport machines, food machines, agriculture machines and equipments, etc.

The principle of electroic Motor
the current comes in the white wire, then the first winding (top right) is clockwise, the next one (bottom right) is anticlockwise, bottom left is clockwise again,
top left is anticlockwise, then out the other white wire. So, imagine a positive half-cycle of the mains, with the current actually coming in that first wire. The first winding produces a north pole facing in; the second a south pole facing in; etc,
like this: N-S-N-S.
Half a mains cycle later (10 ms) the current has reversed and so must the magnetic sense of the poles, which are now: S-N-S-N. The rotor is an electrical conductor, and therefore tries to follow this field. To do so it has to rotate through 90 degrees. The rotor thus takes
two full cycles of the mains (40 ms) to make a complete rotation, and so revolves at 1500 rpm. At least, it would if it could keep up with the rotating field.
But it can't, quite, and in fact it's only because it's slipping behind that any torque is developed at all. So, it rotates a bit slower than 1500 rpm (typically 1440 rpm) depending
on how much torque it is being called upon to produce.

- Brushless motors and frequency converters compose speed control system. The system work synchronously with the frequency. Do not have slip problems,
- high control accuracy.
- Without encoders or rotary transformers, motors can compose open loop control systems with frequency converters. Only need 3 power cables between the
- motor and the converter, improving reliability, especially suitable for bad outdoor environments such as oil fields, mines or other circumstances which require
- high reliability.
- With encoders or rotary transformers, the motors and frequency converters can compose closed loop control system, having high accuracy of speed control,
- especially suitable for the situations which have special requirements of speed, such as numerical control machines.
- The voltage is 220V or 380V, 50Hz, 3 phase, F insulation, B3 or B35 installations, Protection class: IP54.
- Motor’s power factor is nearly 1, improving the Q factor of the network. Do not need power factor compensators.
- Small work current, saving power transmission and distribution capacity, extending the system operation life.
Soft startup, soft stop, stepless speed regulation can be achieved. The speed can be customized according to the requirements of users.
